Seed Genetics International have the ability to create innovative, market driven Alfalfa, White Clover and Clover products through our extensive research and development program. Initiated in 2005, SGI maintain 5 full-time staff dedicated to optimising you varietal potential and minimising crop risk.

As part of our Quality Assured breeding program, all material is subjected to a stringent pest and disease resistance analysis. Thus ensuring that all our varieties have a high level of resistance to the major lucerne pest and diseases.

The primary focus of SGI’s, Lucerne breeding program is to produce both high seed and high forage yielding varieties with a high leaf to stem ratio. This results in highly palatable plants with excellent quality.
